DALLAS - Dallas ISD is hosting the More Choice Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., tomorrow, April 11 at the Automobile Building in Fair Park. Families can enjoy fun activities, free food, connect with school officials from 200 Legacy Schools, and register on-site for the 2026-2027 school year.

Roosevelt powerlifting team lifts up a new legacy
Franklin D. Roosevelt High School of Innovation is making history with the launch of its first-ever powerlifting team, led in part by three freshman girls, breaking barriers in the sport. Competing against experienced athletes, the team has already reached regionals, showcasing strength, confidence, and determination. As pioneers of the program, these students are setting the foundation for future lifters and inspiring more young women to see themselves in powerlifting.

Dallas ISD will host a teacher job fair from 9 a.m. to noon, tomorrow, April 11, at Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex. The job fair will offer candidates the opportunity to explore careers across the district.
