The City of Santa Fe is seeking applicants to fill four vacancies on the Bicycling and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC).
BPAC plays a key role in shaping safer, more equitable transportation options across the community by advising on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, policies, and programs.
We are currently seeking:
Two residents from Council District 2
One resident from Council District 3
One resident from the County of Santa Fe
Established in 2003, the ten-member committee promotes bicycling and walking as viable modes of transportation and recreation. BPAC collaborates with City staff and regional partners to support infrastructure planning, public education, and trail system improvements.
The committee meets monthly on the second Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 200 Lincoln Avenue. Members are appointed by the Mayor upon the City Council's recommendation. Positions are voluntary and unpaid.
Applicants do not need to be bicyclists. The City encourages individuals who can represent a broad range of perspectives, including recreation, youth, neighborhood groups, commuting, and accessibility.
To apply, submit a letter of interest and résumé to Romella Glorioso-Moss at [email protected].
