Visiting the Orthodox Russia: National Unity Day exhibition

The President was accompanied by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia Kirill Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia , Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, Aide to the President Vladimir Medinsky Medinsky VladimirAide to the President , Director of the Federal Archive Agency Andrei Artizov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin Sobyanin SergeiMoscow Mayor and Director of the Talent and Success Foundation Yelena Shmelyova.

The President toured the Great Victory: My Country Russia historical and documentary exhibition. He also visited the Christian Mercy Foundation stand. The charity organisation provides humanitarian aid to the Russian Armed Forces, residents of the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and the border regions.

Vladimir Putin was also shown the icon and relics of Saint Luke the Confessor (Voino-Yasenetsky) that were delivered from St Trinity Convent in Simferopol.

The Orthodox Russia: National Unity Day exhibition is running from November 4 to December 8. It was organised by the Patriarch's Cultural Council and the Federal Archive Agency, with support from the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Moscow City Government, the State Russian Museum, and the My History Foundation for Humanities. The Great Victory: My Country Russia exhibition showcases over 700 exhibits, including the genuine Victory Banner.
