The City of Iowa City is launching a food drive to support the CommUnity Crisis Services & Food Bank starting Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. This year's food drive is critical as demand at local food banks is expected to rise sharply this season, so let's work together to help our neighbors.
Drop-off locations for food will be located at the following City facilities:
Signage at each location will include a QR code for those interested in making a financial donation.
The new food drive comes during increased uncertainty surrounding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.
All donations received will be delivered directly to CommUnity Crisis Services & Food Bank.

The City is also hosting pop-up donation events at local grocery stores and neighborhood parks. On Friday, November 14, from 1 to 4pm, donations can be brought to any of these participating grocery stores:
