Project Overview
The City of Hillsboro was awarded a $1 million grant from Metro Regional Government to complete preliminary designs on a pedestrian bridge over NE Brookwood Parkway.
The bridge would safely connect the newly constructed Crescent Park Greenway trail on the west side of NE Brookwood Parkway (south of U.S. Highway 26), to the future trail on the east side (near Top Golf), which will eventually connect to the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex. There are three public open houses planned for this project with the first on October 15, 2025. As the project moves forward over the next year and a half, there will be more opportunities for the community to review options and weigh in.
