The first Italy-Mongolia business meeting, a growth diplomacy event dedicated to strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries, is taking place today. The Forum, which began at 10:00 a.m. at Villa Madama, will be closed at 3:00 p.m. by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh.
Minister Tajani stated: "Since the beginning of the year, exports between Italy and Mongolia have grown by 10%. With the Business Forum, we aim to further deepen our ties and implement the agreement on air transport services signed earlier this year, which will soon lead to the activation of direct connections between our countries."
The Forum, organized by the Foreign Ministry in collaboration with ITA, CDP, and SACE, as part of the Export Action Plan, brings together institutions, companies, investors, and trade associations with the aim of exploring cooperation opportunities, particularly in logistics, energy, infrastructure, extraction, manufacturing, and agricultural industries, energy transition, and tourism.
On the sidelines of the Forum, the two Ministers will hold a bilateral meeting to review the main themes of the bilateral partnership and international policy dossiers.
