West Friendly Avenue and Westover Terrace Lane Closures Set for October 6 & 7

Beginning Monday, October 6, the following roads will have lane closures and delays from 8 pm to 6 am the following morning due to hydrant repair work:

  • One northbound lane on the 1300 block of Westover Terrace between Mill Street and Green Valley Road
  • Two westbound lanes on the 600 block of West Friendly Avenue between North Edgeworth Street and North Cedar Street

Beginning Tuesday, October 7, two westbound lanes on the 600 block of West Friendly Avenue between North Spring Street and Wilson Street will have lane closures and delays from 8 pm to 6 am the following morning due to hydrant repair work.

Click here for map locations. Signs and traffic cones will be in place and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid the area. Dates and times may change due to weather or last-minute changes in the work schedule.

If you notice discoloration or cloudy water coming from your tap after the repairs, run cold water for a few minutes through a faucet without an aerator, such as an outside spigot or the bathtub, until clear.
