In februari 2026 daalt het globale indexcijfer in de landbouw met 14,1 % ten opzichte van februari 2025, maar blijft vrijwel stabiel ten opzichte van januari 2026 (-0,1 %). De index van planten zet zijn daling voort, met een daling van 8,7 % tussen januari en februari; de tuinbouwindex neemt daarbij af met 7,6 %. Bij de indexen voor dieren stijgt de index voor varkens opnieuw (+18,8 %), wat bijdraagt tot een stijging van 5,2 % van de index voor dieren en dierlijke producten.
