U.S. News releases 2026-27 Best Graduate Schools rankings

U.S. News and World Report today released its 2026-27 Best Graduate Schools rankings, and several Marquette programs improved over last year's rankings.

Two programs/specialties are ranked in the top 25 in the country: the College of Health Science's physical therapy program (16) and the College of Nursing's midwifery specialty (20).

Several more graduate programs moved up in the rankings. Highlights include the College of Nursing's master's programs moving into the No. 50 spot, a seven-position jump, and its nurse anesthesia specialty moving from No. 60 to 35.

Following is Marquette's full list of graduate program rankings for 2026-27. (Figures in parentheses represent the program's previous ranking.)
