TTB Annual Satisfaction Survey Closing Soon
The 2026 TTB Customer Satisfaction Survey is closing on September 8 , and we still want to hear from you. If you didn't receive an invitation for the survey, please check your spam/junk folders. SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is announcing a meeting of the National Organic Standards Board (Board). The Board assists USDA in the development of standards for substances to be used in organic production and advises the Secretary of Agriculture on any other aspects of the implementation of the Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA).
DATES: A virtual meeting will be held October 27-29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) each day. The Board will hear oral public comments via webinars on Tuesday, October 20, and Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). The deadline to submit written comments and/or sign up for oral comments is 11:59 p.m. ET, October 1, 2026.

Application for Relief from Disabilities Imposed by Federal Laws With Respect to the Acquisition, Receipt, Transfer, Shipment, Transportation, or Possession of Firearms

ACTION: Final rule
SUMMARY: The Department of Justice (''the Department'') is implementing criteria to guide determinations for granting relief from disabilities imposed by federal laws with respect to the acquisition, receipt, transfer, shipment, transportation, or possession of firearms. The criteria are designed to ensure that the fundamental right of the people to keep and bear arms is not unduly infringed, that those people granted relief are not likely to act in a manner dangerous to public safety, and that granting such relief would not be contrary to the public interest.
DATES: This rule is effective September 21, 2026. Starting on September 21, 2026, the Department will begin soliciting applications from individuals.

ACTION: Final rule
SUMMARY: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is revising its regulations pursuant to the Trade Act of 2002 requiring the transmission of export manifest data electronically in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) for cargo transported by rail for any train departing the United States. This rule mandates the electronic transmission of rail export manifest information, identifies the parties eligible to transmit information, and describes the time frames prior to departure in which the information is due. This rule enables CBP to address important cargo security concerns while providing efficiencies to the trade.
DATES: Effective date: This rule is effective on October 26, 2026. Compliance date: CBP will begin enforcing this rule on October 26, 2027.
