The Winnipeg Police Service's Counter Exploitation Unit (CEU) continues to conduct outreach and proactive offender sweeps in the community.
On October 10th, 2025, CEU officers, assisted by members from all Districts of the Winnipeg Police Service, conducted a sweep focusing on known areas of prostitution. Seven men ranging from 27 to 68 years of age were arrested for Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration and released on Undertakings.
Several people working in the sex trade were offered community resources.
