Older Adults Invited to Aging Partners Events December 22 Through 26

Aging Partners invites older adults and the public to a variety of activities and classes in Lincoln and Lancaster County December 22 through 26:

Monday, December 22

  • Holiday cookie decorating (supplies provided), Belmont Senior Center - 10 a.m.
  • Hot cocoa bar, Northeast Senior Center - 9 to 11 a.m.
  • Fit for Fun BINGO, Victory Park Center - 10 a.m.
  • Nutrition handout: Spice Up Your Kitchen, Washington Street Senior Center - 10 a.m.
  • Holiday music from Tom Ficke, Firth Senior Center - 10:30 a.m.
  • Christmas music, cookie decorating and eggnog, Firth Senior Center - 12:15 p.m.

Tuesday, December 23

  • Simply Fit: A 30-minute video exercise class accommodating for all fitness levels, Belmont Senior Center - 10:45 a.m.
  • Vintage Toy Collection presentation by Mitch Sump, Aging Partners, Northeast Senior Center - 10 a.m.
  • Christmas Card Block Holiday Craft: make decorative blocks for your windowsill or table using designs from old Christmas cards, Victory Park Center - 9:30 a.m.
  • Christmas BINGO: Please bring something related to the holiday season such as a color, song, story, jingle, even a commercial, Washington Street Senior Center - 10:15 a.m.
  • Holiday movie and popcorn, Bennet Senior Center - 10:30 a.m. followed by trivia about the movie at 12:15 p.m.
  • Movie trivia, Bennet Senior Center - 12:15 p.m.

Wednesday, December 24

  • Christmas/holiday trivia game, Washington Street Senior Center - 10:30 a.m.
  • Christmas activities, games, and cookie decorating, Hickman Senior Center - 10:30 a.m.
  • Christmas music, cookie decorating, and eggnog, Hickman Senior Center - 12:15 p.m.

Thursday, December 25

  • Aging Partners offices and all senior centers are closed in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Friday, December 26

  • Pajama Day with a movie, Northeast Senior Center - 9:30 a.m.
  • Games, Washington Street Senior Center - 9 to 11 a.m.
