Dentons HPRP Advises on Aerius Leasing’s Inaugural Offshore Energy Helicopter Leasing Transaction Supporting Operations in Indonesia

Dentons HPRP acted as Indonesian joint counsel to Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited in connection with the financing and leasing arrangements for the acquisition of a Leonardo AW139 helicopter by Aerius Leasing. The transaction forms part of Aerius Leasing's inaugural offshore energy helicopter leasing transaction and involved the purchase and leaseback of the aircraft from Weststar Aviation Services for operations in Indonesia.

The helicopter will be operated by PT Weststar Aviation Indonesia in support of ENI's offshore oil and gas activities in Indonesia. The transaction was structured through a financing and leasing framework supported by security arrangements over the aircraft and related rights, requiring careful consideration of Indonesian legal and regulatory requirements.
