Readout from Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent’s Meeting with Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari of Qatar
WASHINGTON - Last week, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Minister of Finance H.E. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari of Qatar. During their discussions, Secretary Bessent expressed his gratitude to Minister Al-Kuwari for Qatar's critical support for President Trump's peace plan for Gaza.
The Secretary and Minister also discussed Qatari investment priorities, and the importance of the continued maximum pressure campaign against the Iranian regime.
