Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG (Berenberg), as financial adviser and sponsor to Acceler8 Ventures plc (AC8), on AC8's £600 million acquisition of Intuitive Investments Group plc (IIG).

The enlarged group has been admitted to the Equity Shares (Commercial Companies) category of the FCA Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

IIG's principal investment is in Hui10, a technology group headquartered in Beijing whose operating businesses support digital infrastructure development within China's regulated lottery ecosystem.

The acquisition constituted an initial transaction for AC8 under the UK Listing Rules and a reverse takeover under the UK Takeover Code. It was implemented by way of a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement.

The cross-border Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by London-based partner Clementine Hogarth and included partner Paul Whitelock, counsel Alex Green, associate Angelina Lim-Jordan and trainee solicitor Emily Scriven, as well as Shanghai-based partner Hong Sun and senior associate Shibin Zhao.
