Fourth of July Holiday Closures: City Offices and Services Closed July 3 and 4
All City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, and Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Closures include:
Santa Fe Municipal Court
All Recreation Centers
All Santa Fe Public Library branches. Return book drops will remain open.
All Senior Centers
Transit Administration Office
The Parking Division will observe July 4th as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered zones at no charge. Meter holidays only apply to metered parking spaces. Surface lots and garages are still subject to fees.
Santa Fe Trails and Santa Fe Ride services will continue as scheduled on Friday, July 3, 2026.
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Santa Fe Ride will not operate. Santa Fe Trails will provide transportation services only to the Fourth of July event.
There will be no residential trash or recycling collection on July 3 and 4. Commercial collection schedules will not change.
