Free Halloween event to be held October 24 in Gaylord
Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital (OMH) and the new Gaylord Ambulatory Surgery Center are welcoming families to a fun, safe, and festive Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Professional Medical Building parking lot at 829 N. Center Avenue in Gaylord.
Hospital departments will transform their vehicles into creative Halloween displays and hand out treats to children, creating an evening of family-friendly fun for the community. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome.
The event will also feature participation from community partners Treetops Resort, Five Below, Kirtland Community College, Continental Home Center, Walmart, as well as local public safety personnel who will be on hand to connect with families and help make the evening memorable.
Food trucks will be available throughout the event, offering a variety of food and hot beverages for purchase.
"Community events like Trunk or Treat give us an opportunity to connect with the families we serve outside of our hospital walls," said Rob Richardson, Chief Operating Officer of Munson Healthcare's East Region. "We look forward to welcoming our neighbors for a safe and enjoyable evening of Halloween fun."
The event is free and open to the public.
