Orrick Again Recognized for Pro Bono Commitment Globally

The American Lawyer's 2026 Pro Bono Scorecard ranks Orrick No. 6 for breadth of commitment and No. 4 for pro bono impact internationally. This marks our ninth consecutive year in the top six for breadth of commitment, which measures the percentage of lawyers who meet the 20-hour standard, and our eighth consecutive year in the top five teams in Europe and Asia.

Some recent highlights include:

• Two extraordinary en banc Ninth Circuit arguments - both wins - by our associates
• A precedent-setting appellate win that ensures plaintiffs can recover attorney fees as prevailing parties in New York
• An innovative impact finance project that will enhance water security in Capetown, South Africa
• 113 European Court of Human Rights applications completed in just four months on behalf of displaced ethnic Armenians - a first-of-its-kind collaboration with peer firms
• 36 veterans' rights matters in collaboration with the National Veterans' Legal Services Program over the past 18 months
