China's grain feed demand is forecast to remain broadly stable in MY2026/27 as declining hog production offsets growth in other livestock sectors. Corn production is expected to increase despite localized weather damage, while competitively priced substitutes constrain corn consumption. Corn and wheat imports are forecast to recover from the previous year, while sorghum, barley, and rice imports decline. Expanding Brazilian sorghum and DDGS exports to China, together with Argentine corn exports, are increasing competition for U.S. exporters.
