Weekend Lane Closures on SR 14/Roosevelt Hwy in Union City for Safety Project
ATLANTA METRO - Work crews for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will continue construction of several safety projects throughout metro Atlanta. Crews will install sharp curve warning signage and high friction surface treatments, designed to alert drivers of sharp roadway curves ahead.

Weather and on-site conditions permitting, these are the scheduled lane closures on SR 14/Roosevelt Highway between Hunter Road and Highpoint Road:
  • One right lane will be closed northbound from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18
  • One left lane will be closed northbound from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 19.
As always, motorists traveling in the area are reminded to reduce their speeds in the work zone. Motorists are also encouraged to wear seatbelts, eliminate distractions behind the wheel, and plan their routes before getting on the road. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
