Chevron Refinery Alarm Testing Notification

Over the next several months, Chevron will be conducting tests of their Emergency Notification and Response System alarm at their processing facility. The first test in this series will take place on Wednesday, January 14, from approximately 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at a processing unit located in the middle of the Refinery.

During this time, Chevron will perform several tests using an audible "fire alarm" message to verify the system's sound, functionality, and overall performance. While Chevron does not anticipate the alarm's decibel levels will cause concern for nearby residents, they wanted to provide advance notice to maintain transparent communication with the community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Chevron's hotline at (310) 615-5342.
