Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2026: Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2026 Round 1 choice filling process is currently open for students who want to pursue MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in all medical colleges of the state. With the release of the final state merit list and CAP Round 1 seat matrix, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is inviting eligible candidates to choose their college and speciality through the official counselling portal, medical2026.mahacet.org.

The online choice-filling facility will be open until 11:59 PM on November 4, 2026. Students on the final state merit list need to secure their preferences before the closing of the said date. The CET Cell will release the Maharashtra NEET PG CAP Round 1 selection list on November 5, 2026.

According to Official Notice No. 04 issued by the State CET Cell, the revised timeline for CAP Round 1 is outlined below:

1. Go to the official portal: medical2026.mahacet.org .
2. Click on "PG Medical (NEET-PG-2026) Candidate Login".
3. Enter your application number, password, and security captcha.
4. Select "CAP Round 1 Choice Filling." This will be available in the candidate dashboard.
5. Prioritise and rank the Colleges and Specialities that you want to apply to.
6. Finally, lock your choice before 11:59 PM on November 4, 2026, and download the choice submission confirmation slip for future verification.

Candidates need to rank their choices in order of preference, with consideration of their NEET PG rank, category, available seats and specialities they prefer. The release of the seat matrix by the CET Cell will let candidates know the available MD, MS, PG Diploma seats across the institutions that participated in the CET.

Candidates will not be allowed to change the choices made by them during the first round. Hence, they have to read the preference list very carefully, and they can either complete or submit the form before the end date.

The CET Cell of Maharashtra will announce the CAP Round 1 Selection List on 5th November 2026. The allotment list will contain the names and allocation details of candidates who secured the seats for the first time in the counseling session.
