Black Rock Coffee Bar Helped Raise More Than $12,500 for Blood Cancer United in Partnership with Clackamas Fire

Black Rock Coffee Bar and the Clackamas Fire Stairclimb team recently came together for their annual Give Back Day in support of Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), whose mission is to help patients and families affected by blood cancers. Since 2022, the partnership has raised more than $12,500 for the organization across six Give Back Days.

Give Back Day for Firefighter Stairclimb Team Supporting Blood Cancer United at Black Rock Coffee Bar in Clackamas, Oregon

On Friday, October 2nd, Black Rock Coffee Bar's Clackamas, Oregon location donated $2 from every regularly priced drink purchased to support the team's fundraising. Members of the Clackamas Fire Stairclimb team were on site with a stairclimber, climbing stairs and collecting donations as they trained for the Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb, an annual event supporting Blood Cancer United.

A Partnership Built One Cup at a Time

Give Back Days are one of the ways Black Rock Coffee Bar puts its mission into practice: to be a positive force in the communities it serves. Each event pairs a local shop with a local cause, turning a morning coffee run into a way for neighbors to support the organizations and communities that matter most nearby.
