Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing Attends“ Stitch with Love Runway in Savai’i ”Event

On December 13, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing attended the "Stitch with Love Runway in Savai'i "show organized by the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Samoa Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molioo delivered a speech and walked the runway as the grand finale act. Over 100 participants were present, including representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development etc., as well as teachers, trainees from the 4th creative handicrafts and sewingtechnologytraining program, and women representatives from various sectors of the Savai'i island.

Deputy Prime Minister Moilipola expressed gratitude to China for conducting the sewing training in Samoa, encouraged the trainees to apply the skills for community development and looked forward to continued cooperation with China in more similar projects.

Ambassador Fei stated that human resources training has been a key component of practical cooperation between China and Samoa since the establishment of diplomatic relations 50 years ago. China will adhere to the principle of the "Four Full Respects" to jointly carry out livelihood projects with Samoa and build an even closer China and Samoa community with a shared future.
