UNM Food and Aramark Collegiate Hospitality are expanding dining options on The University of New Mexico's North Campus, with the opening of a new food truck pad on April 6.
Located next to the North Campus Golf Course off Tucker Avenue - near Yale Blvd. - the new pad creates opportunities for new, local dining options to the area. The construction is part of UNM Food's ongoing commitment to deliver innovative dining solutions across campus.
"This new location supports local culinary partners and increases access to fresh meal options for students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding health care community," said Amanda Gerard, director of UNM Dining and Hospitality. "A rotating lineup of local vendors will offer new breakfast and lunch options throughout the week, and provide flexible, flavorful dining options for the fast-paced North Campus environment."
A full weekly rotation and operating hours can be found at food.unm.edu. Vendors will change throughout the year, and initial food truck pad hours are scheduled Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"I am thrilled to see the installation of the new food truck pad on North Campus," said Camille Carey, dean of UNM Law School. "This investment reflects a thoughtful commitment to enhancing the daily experience of our students, faculty, and staff by expanding convenient dining options."
