"I am excited to welcome Régulo Stabilito to our Large Ensemble program," said Rachel Lloyd-Taylor, HCD's director of Music Programs. "I believe his passion for the performing arts and education will be impactful for not only Connecticut Youth Symphony, but also our growing community of young artists."
A passionate educator and advocate for music's social impact, Stabilito's teaching roles include stints at Appalachian State University and Lee University in Tennessee. He has led youth orchestras across the Americas and Europe.
"He is an outstanding musician and conductor," said Emmett Drake, chair of Large Ensembles at HCD. "I'm looking forward to watching the orchestra's continued growth under his leadership."
