Important Notice: Core Banking System Upgrade

The Bank of Bhutan Limited (BoB) hereby informs the general public that the Bank will be undertaking a major upgrade of its Core Banking System, transitioning from TCS BaNCS to the TCS Global Banking Platform (TCS GBP) in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This upgrade will enhance system resilience, scalability, and support BoB's future digital initiatives.

System Migration Period

  • From: 12:00 am, 12th February 2026
  • To: 11:59 pm, 13th February 2026

During this period:

  • All BoB branches will remain closed
  • All banking channels (ATM, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, POS, Agency Banking, and payment services) will NOT be available

Temporary Service Suspension

  • New customer onboarding and Customer information update and change will be suspended from 8th to 13th February 2026

Service resumption

  • All Digital services will resume from 12:00 am 14th February 2026.
  • The BoB branch offices will resume its operation from 16th February 2026 (Monday)
