Description

The third meeting of Thematic Panel 2, entitled 'Addressing vulnerabilities to radicalisation from the macro to the micro level: Exploration of secondary and tertiary prevention', took place on 26-27 November 2025, in Lisbon, and brought together 37 participants, including the Co-leaders, the Secretariat (Research and Logistics teams), the Policy Officer (online), a participant from the EUKH Mentoring Programme, a member of the EUKH Research Committee (as a speaker on the first day), as well as 28 TP2 Members (namely policymakers, researchers, and practitioners) from 14 countries.

As part of the EU Knowledge Hub on the Prevention of Radicalisation, TP2 is mandated to effectively prevent radicalisation in prisons while improving the rehabilitation and reintegration of persons sentenced to terrorism-related crimes, or assessed as radical, extremist, or vulnerable to radicalisation. Thus, the TP meeting included presentations, experience-sharing, group work, and plenary discussions to explore prevention and intervention at the secondary and tertiary levels.
