Working Visit by Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Sim Ann to Washington DC, 28-31 January 2026.

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Sim Ann will make a working visit to Washington DC, the United States (US), from 28 to 31 January 2026.

SMS Sim will be the Guest of Honour at an evening reception hosted by the Embassy of Singapore in Washington DC for the US Conference of Mayors' 94th Winter Meeting in Washington DC. This reception will kickstart a series of commemorative events to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the US this year. SMS Sim will engage US mayors to strengthen city-to-city ties and reaffirm the longstanding and robust Singapore-US partnership.

SMS Sim will also meet US government officials and Members of the US Congress.

SMS Sim will be accompanied by Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Transport, Mayor of North East District Baey Yam Keng, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development.
