The City of Santa Ana invites residents and visitors to celebrate Chicano Heritage Month at the City's fifth annual Chicano Heritage Festival on Sunday, Aug. 23, with an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment, music, food, activities and community celebration.
The festival will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at Centennial Park, 3000 W. Edinger Ave., Santa Ana. The event will feature a car cruise and show, live entertainment, food, exhibitors, a kids zone, and more.
"Chicano Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and traditions that have helped shape Santa Ana and make our community so vibrant," said Mayor Valerie Amezcua. "I invite everyone to join us at Centennial Park for an afternoon of music, family fun and community pride as we honor and celebrate our Chicano heritage."
Hosted by Becky Lou, the festival's musical lineup will feature a headline performance by Baby Bash, along with performances by:
Park gates will open at 1 p.m. for early arrivals. Canopies are welcome in designated areas throughout the park. Alcohol is not permitted in the event space.
