Dentons advises Swiss Life Select Slovensko on the acquisition of MPS

Bratislava-Dentons has advised Swiss Life Select Slovensko, a leading provider of financial services and a member of the Swiss Life International Group, on the acquisition of the Slovak independent financial agent MPS, s.r.o. (Modern Insurance Services). The transaction is another step in Swiss Life Select's long-term strategy of expansion on the Slovak market and strengthens its position in financial intermediation.

Swiss Life Select Slovensko focuses on financial planning with a strong emphasis on asset management, investments, mortgages, life insurance and pensions. MPS will bring specialized know-how in the field of non-life insurance - from property insurance for small and medium-sized businesses, through insurance for towns and municipalities, to comprehensive coverage of large industrial risks. The acquisition by Swiss Life Select Slovensko will expand the portfolio of services to include a segment that is of growing importance for both corporate and individual clients.
