BOISE, Idaho (August 18, 2026) - For the fifth consecutive year, Jacksons Food Stores will be the exclusive retailer of Bronco football collectible trading cards. The 2026 set of cards will be available at Jacksons and ExtraMile by Jacksons locations in the Treasure Valley the week of August 24 and retail for $12.99.
2026 marks the fifth season of the Jacksons-Boise State-ONIT trading card partnership, the longest-running full-team collegiate trading card program in the country.
"Five years ago, Jacksons believed in creating something unique for Bronco Nation, and together we've built the longest-running full-team collegiate trading card program in the country," said Boise State Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey. "This partnership continues to create meaningful NIL opportunities for our student-athletes while giving our fans another way to celebrate and connect with this year's team. These cards have become a tradition, and we encourage every Bronco fan to stop by Jacksons, pick up a pack and be part of another exciting season."
Each pack will contain 14 cards with a one in 10 chance for a signed "signature" card from 11 prominent Bronco football student-athletes: wide receiver Cameron Bates, kicker Colton Boomer, offensive lineman Roger Carreon, wide receiver Ben Ford, running back Sire Gaines, quarterback Maddux Madsen, linebacker Boen Phelps, running back Dylan Riley, defensive back Sherrod Smith, EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan, and tight end Matt Wagner.
Maddux Madsen is the first Boise State football player to appear as a signature athlete in three different seasons and six players on this year's roster have been featured in all five Bronco football sets: Roger Carreon, Ben Ford, Maddux Madsen, linebacker Jake Ripp, tight end Austin Terry, and Jayden Virgin-Morgan.
"What started as an exciting idea has grown into a five-year tradition that Bronco fans look forward to every football season," said Cory Jackson, President of Jacksons Food Stores. "We're proud to continue supporting Boise State student-athletes while giving fans the thrill of collecting their favorite players. With autograph cards and this year's talented roster, every pack offers something special, so we can't wait to see fans visit their neighborhood Jacksons and start collecting."
This year Jacksons teamed up with Bronco football players wide receiver Cam Bates and running back Dylan Riley through an NIL partnership. Bates and Riley will be featured on Jacksons social media, various marketing channels as well as on several billboards throughout the Treasure Valley.
Bates, who discovered his first Jacksons trading card by accident, still displays it proudly in his football locker.
"I remember walking into the locker room and all the trading cards for that season were spread out and available for the taking," said Bates. "I looked around, saw mine, and grabbed it. I was surprised because the card featured a picture of me from my very first fall camp. It is still in my locker to this day."
When asked about the response from his family on the NIL partnership with Jacksons, Riley cracked a smile.
"My mama was hyped," said Riley. "She can't wait to see me on a billboard, that's her main thing."
The 2026 set includes 116 base cards featuring 114 student-athletes and two traditions cards that commemorate the 40th Anniversary of The Blue and the completion of the North End Zone Project.
ONIT introduced four new insert designs this season and gave the returning inserts a refresh for 2026. The new inserts are General Admission, Game Day, Dynamic Shift and Hype. The General Admission insert card also has a signature version.
There is also a new base parallel in 2026, featuring a blue and orange checkerboard design. The new parallel is numbered out of 50.
The 2026 set features six different styles of autograph cards, all with varying degrees of rarity.
Each pack contains 14 cards comprising 10 base cards, one parallel card and three insert cards. On average, one in every 10 packs contains an authentic, on-card autograph.
Trading Card Packs will be available at most Treasure Valley Jacksons and ExtraMile by Jacksons Stores next week.
The trading cards are licensed through a name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership activated through Bronco Sports Properties (BSP) and BroncoPRO. Both BSP and BroncoPRO work together to generate incremental NIL revenue, activating NIL sponsorships, and educating student-athletes on NIL to create profitable opportunities for all student-athletes representing the blue and orange.
