Guiderail Upgrade on the Route 2A Eastbound On-ramp from Route 32 in Montville

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a guiderail upgrade will be performed on the Route 2A eastbound on-ramp from Route 32 in Montville. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 13, 2026, and be completed on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Project No. DOT01703718CN consists of removing, replacing and extending the existing guiderail on both sides of the Route 2A eastbound on-ramp from Route 32 in Montville. The work is scheduled from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday- Wednesday.

This project is being performed by Eagle Fence and Guardrail.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Traffic will follow the posted detour on Route 32 in Montville and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during the ramp closure.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
