EMERGENCY ARAB-ISLAMIC SUMMIT TO DISCUSS THE ISRAELI ATTACK ON

THE STATE OF QATAR

DOHA, QATAR

15 SEPTEMBER 2025

Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim will attend the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar on 15 September 2025 in Doha, Qatar. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan and senior government officials.

The Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit will be attended by leaders and representatives of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States and will be preceded by an Arab-Islamic Ministerial Preparatory Meeting on 14 September 2025.

The participation of the Prime Minister in this Emergency Summit underscores Malaysia's support and solidarity with Qatar, and as a continuation of Malaysia's efforts to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and to condemn the brutality and violence perpetrated by Israel.

The Prime Minister will address the Summit to reaffirm Malaysia's firm stance on the urgent need to end Israel's blatant violations of international law, including the United Nations Charter and state sovereignty, that threaten regional and global peace.

The Summit is expected to adopt a Final Communiqué outlining collective actions and positions to address this issue.
