Casualty Underwriters Insurance Co. in Liquidation News
On September 19, 2025, Utah's Third District Court issued an order placing Casualty Underwriters Insurance Company (CUIC) into liquidation.
- Liquidation Order and Restraining Orders
The liquidation order appoints the Utah Insurance Commissioner as the company's liquidator, and authorizes the Commissioner to:
- appoint a special deputy liquidator;
- take possession of all company assets (including property and contracts); and
- liquidate those assets to pay the debts and obligations of the company.
