Abstract

This report describes a data mapping language, RADmapper, designed to provide an interoperable exchange form for expressing the intent of typical mapping and data restructuring needs. The exchange form of RADmapper code is intended to be translateable (by humans and machine agents) into mapping specification in other languages. For example, it should be possible to translate statements in the exchange form into mapping specifications used by commercial mapping tools.
