Have your say in Council's annual Community Satisfaction Survey

Published on 12 March 2026

Murrindindi Shire residents may soon receive a call or see an online invitation to take part in our annual Community Satisfaction Survey.

The survey is being conducted independently by Klein Research on behalf of Local Government Victoria and Murrindindi Shire Council. The results help Council understand what is working well and where we can improve the services and facilities we provide to our community.

How the survey works:

  • Around 400 residents will be invited to participate
  • 300 interviews will be conducted by telephone and 100 responses will be collected online via social media
  • Telephone calls may come from various mobile numbers rather than a single phone number
  • The survey takes around 7 minutes to complete

Participants are randomly selected and must be aged 18 or over and live within Murrindindi Shire. The survey is conducted annually and follows strict research standards.

The survey was originally scheduled to begin earlier in the year but was delayed due to Council's response to the January 2026 fires. Fieldwork is now commencing in early March and will run through to early April.

If you are contacted, we encourage you to take part and share your views. Your feedback plays an important role in helping Council understand community priorities and guide future improvements.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to participate.
