NJ Cannabis Training Academy Program Now Available in Spanish

TRENTON, NJ - The New Jersey Department of State's NJ Business Action Center (NJBAC) has finalized and completed the Spanish translation of its Cannabis Training Academy (CTA) curriculum. All 10 levels of the online cannabis technical assistance program comprising 60+ courses, quizzes and surveys, and its certificate of completion, are now available in both English and Spanish.

By translating all 60+ courses into Spanish, the CTA aims to make its no-cost program accessible to a wider audience of students, recognizing that Spanish is the second-most spoken language in the State.

Students who elect to complete all 10 levels of the program in Spanish will receive an official certificate of completion, which can be included as part of their application for a New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC) cannabis license.

With this translation, Spanish-speaking students will have access to the same educational experience offered to English-speaking students: an asynchronous, online learning platform that provides 60+ courses surrounding cannabis laws and regulations, site control, license application process, financial sourcing, general operating procedures, among other topics.

While the CTA's 10-level core curriculum is available in Spanish, pre-recorded webinars that exist outside of this core curriculum is currently available only in English.

To choose the Spanish version, participants must first create an account or log into an existing account in English, and then choose the preferred language in the settings found within their student profile.
