Summer Outdoor Concert Series Returns to Olde Towne

Gaithersburg's popular Summer Outdoor Concert Series returns to the City Hall Concert Pavilion. Free, family-friendly concerts take place in June and July. Bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.

Parents and children alike will enjoy avariety of family-friendly performances on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

  • June 10: Groovy Nate (Song & Movement)
  • June 17: Mr. Jon & Friends (Rock & Rhyme)
  • June 24: Great Zucchini (Comedy & Songs)
  • July 1: Lilo Gonzalez (International Folk)
  • July 8: The Bubbas (Acoustic)
  • July 15: Fastest Plane (Song & Story)
  • July 22: Munit and Z Lovebugs (Family Songs)
  • July 29: Bridgette & Dawn (Songs)

Wind down the workday with great music in a casual, outdoor setting on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy a meal from the rotating food truck featured at each event or bring local carryout to enjoy during the concert. You can also dine in Olde Towne after the show.

  • June 25: Ocho de Bastos (Rock with Latin Twist)

  • July 16: Joe Falero Band (Latin/Salsa)
  • July 23: Seth Kibel Band (Jazz)
  • July 30: Magical Mystery Girls (Beatles Tribute Band)

Parking in Olde Towne is free. Limited spaces are available at City Hall and the upper parking lot by Wells/Robertson House. Limited free parking is also available in the Parking Garage located at 112 Olde Towne Ave. and in additional short-term parking locations in Olde Towne.

Concerts are weather-dependent and may be canceled at the last minute due to unfavorable conditions. For updates, visit the City's Facebook or X account, or call the inclement weather line at 240-805-1148.
