CPChem is proud to celebrate Bri Danzeisen, process optimization team lead, who has been named a STEP Ahead Award honoree. The STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Awards recognize women and allies who demonstrate excellence and leadership in manufacturing.
"Her leadership, integrity and passion for strengthening our operations set a standard we all aspire to," said Dirk Perrin, Cedar Bayou plant manager. "This recognition is a testament not only to her technical expertise, but also to the positive impact she has on her team and on our plant every day. We are thrilled to see her contributions recognized and look forward to the continued excellence she brings to CPChem's manufacturing community."
Danzeisen played a key role in bringing together operations, field support, process controls, technical experts and business teams to support a 2025 value-capture goal of $10 million. Her collaborative approach has positioned the team for success and created a model for effective cross-functional problem solving.
Earlier in her career, Danzeisen championed the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) work-study program at the Orange, Texas, site. In partnership with the local community college, she helped establish a sustainable talent pipeline for skilled maintenance technicians. The program's first cohort is now in its second year.
"Bri brings passion, integrity and heart to everything she does, and the impact she's made on our organization is remarkable," said Karly Jurgensmeier, Cedar Bayou field support engineering superintendent. "Watching her grow, lead and lift others along the way has been a privilege."
Danzeisen has strengthened employee engagement and development through her active involvement in GLOW and the Professional Development Network. Outside of work, she recently began leading a Daisy Girl Scout Troop.
In April, Danzeisen will be honored in Washington, D.C., alongside distinguished leaders from across the country, in recognition of her exceptional contributions.
