APNIC's Dave Phelan presents at IPv6 update at the PITA 2026 Sub-Regional Forum.
Following the launch of APNIC's new Sub-Regional Forum (SRF) initiative in the Pacific at PITA 30, the next APNIC SRF will be held alongside the South Asia Network Operators Group meeting (SANOG 44). SANOG 44 event runs from 22 to 28 July 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal, beginning with four days of technical workshops led by npNOG (22 to 25 July), followed by the three-day SANOG Conference (26 to 28 July).
The SANOG 44 SRF will create new opportunities for Members across South Asia to engage with APNIC closer to home. SRFs complement APRICOT and APNIC conferences. They provide more accessible ways for Members to take part in discussions on Internet operations, policy, and regional priorities. By working with established regional events, APNIC aims to strengthen local engagement, improve collaboration, and better understand Members' evolving needs.
