Reason for Closure

On June 3, City crews repairing and resurfacing the street discovered a sinkhole near SW Dosch Road and SW Newby Terrace. Crews stabilized the area and are now completing permanent repairs, including installation of a new stormwater maintenance hole. Additional inspections are underway to assess the condition of connecting stormwater pipes, and further repairs may be needed. As a result, the closure could remain in place longer than anticipated.

Traffic Impacts

SW Dosch Road will remain closed in this area until all emergency repairs are complete.

The traveling public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible. Local access to residences and businesses will remain available.

This work is weather-dependent, and schedules may change.

The City appreciates the public's patience as crews work to repair the stormwater system and reopen the roadway.
