Important Fraudulent Message Alert

Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you of the increase in fraudulent campaigns aimed at spreading false messages posing as official notifications from the bank related to "temporary card restriction due to unusual activity", "attempts to access" or "restoration of access to a card" (See example here).

Fraudulent messages typically:

  • create a sense of urgency.
  • contain a button or link for "card recovery/unblocking".
  • lead to unofficial websites which imitate the design of the bank's website.

The bank DOES NOT send such messages!

Also be especially careful when accessing online banking through an Internet browser. Scammers often create mirror (fake) sites (an example of such a site see here) that visually resemble the bank's internet page in order to trick you into entering your user access data.

They send prompt messages requiring that you enter banking and personal information under the pretext of updating customer data. Always check the address of the site - make sure it starts with https://and contains the correct bank domain. Look for unusual elements on the page - spelling mistakes, strange buttons or lack of a security icon (padlock) in the address bar.

It is important to know that:

  • The bank never sends via links in SMS or emails: card details, PIN code, dynamic password, usernames and passwords for online/mobile banking, M-token code.
  • The Bank does not send "restore" or "unblock" links to cards or customer data updates.
  • All actions on your products are carried out only through the official channels of the bank.

What to do if you receive such a message:

  • Do not open links.
  • Do not enter any data.
  • Delete the message.

In the event of a suspected fraud, contact the bank only through the official contacts on 070018484 or by email:

If you have already followed a link or entered data, please contact us immediately so that risk mitigation measures can be taken.

Additional recommendations and tips for fraud prevention can also be found on the bank's website.

Sincerely,
The team of UniCredit Bulbank
