Mayor Salwan Delivers 2026 State of the City Address
On June 30, 2026, at the Fremont Downtown Event Center, Mayor Raj Salwan delivered the annual State of the City Address, showcasing the City's major accomplishments from the past fiscal year and outlining his vision for the future of Fremont.
Just a sampling of the highlights include:
- $1B in expanded utility infrastructure
- 567 new affordable housing units
- 13% decrease in violent crime
- 1500+ trees planted
