Crews will begin work on southbound Stevens Street between 3^rd and 9^th Avenues beginning Monday, July 6. Drivers are urged to plan ahead, allow for extra time, and be alert for frequent traffic changes. Please slow down for everyone's safety and make extra effort to support businesses impacted by the necessary projects. Stevens Street between 3^rd and 9^th Avenues

Beginning Monday, July 6, lane reductions will be in place on southbound Stevens Street between 3^rd and the 9^th Avenue Bridge. This grind and overlay project includes sewer and stormwater pipe replacement, ADA ramp improvements, and joint seal repair work on the bridge. Work on Stevens Street and the 9^th Avenue Bridge is expected to be completed by late August.

What to expect:

• Southbound traffic on Stevens Street will be reduced to one lane between 3^rd Avenue and the 9^th Avenue Bridge. Expect significant slowdowns starting at Sprague Avenue for southbound Stevens Street.
