REVISED: Overnight lane and ramp closures at various locations in Jackson County, Oct. 6-8

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various overnight lane and ramp closures at locations in Jackson County for pavement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications.

Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. until Wednesday, October 7 at 6 a.m.

• Single lane closure on U.S. 50 WB at the bridge over Chipman Rd.
• Single lane closure on the entrance ramp from Holmes Rd to I-435 WB.

Wednesday, October 7 at 9 p.m. to Thursday, October 8 at 6 a.m.

• REVISED: Crews will close the I-35 south to I-70 west ramp.
• Crews will close the I-70 WB ramp to I-670 WB.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
