State Rep. Thomas Awarded Ohio REALTORS Public Service Award

State Representative David Thomas (R-Jefferson) was recently awarded the Ohio REALTORS Public Service Award in honor of his dedication and commitment to lowering property taxes for Ohioans and championing other important pieces of legislation that benefit Ohio homeowners across the state.

"It has been an honor to work with the many Ohio Realtors across the state to help our taxpayers and homeowners in Ohio," said Thomas. "I am looking forward to continuing our strong partnership into the future."

"The Ohio REALTORS® Public Service Award recognizes leaders who make a real difference for homeowners and communities across our state. Representative David Thomas has been a true champion of private property rights, and we are grateful for his partnership and leadership in advancing meaningful property tax reform that will benefit Ohioans for generations to come," said Mic Gordon, Ohio REALTORS® President.

Rep. Thomas and his colleagues from the House Republican Caucus have worked hard to pass numerous bills to help lower property taxes for Ohioans, including five pieces of legislation that were signed into law that work to curb tax hikes and deliver direct property tax relief, totaling more than $3 billion in savings.
