KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 7, 2026 - Pinnacle Financial Partners has added three financial services veterans to its Knoxville team, expanding the firm's ability to serve individuals, families and businesses across East Tennessee. Rand Thomas and Andrew Pankratz join Pinnacle as financial advisors while Jamie Harrington joins as a trust and wealth advisor. All three are based at Pinnacle's Northshore office.
"Rand, Andrew and Jamie bring strong experience, deep relationships and a real understanding of this community," said Mike DeStefano, Pinnacle's regional president for Knoxville. "Each has built a career around listening to clients, understanding what they need and helping them reach their goals. Thomas joins Pinnacle from Bank of Tennessee, where he served as a relationship manager focused on commercial lending and deposit relationships. He previously worked with TNBANK, managing commercial and consumer lending relationships and guiding clients through the lending process. His background also includes business development, commercial insurance and surety experience.
Thomas earned a bachelor's degree in engineering technology with a concentration in construction management from East Tennessee State University. He is involved with the Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville and BNI Rainmakers Chapter and has served a number of community organizations throughout his career.
Pankratz joins Pinnacle from First Horizon Bank, where he most recently served as senior retail market manager for the Knoxville metro area. During his tenure there, he held several leadership and client-facing positions, including private banker, working with affluent individuals, executives and business owners on their banking and financial needs.
Pankratz earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentrations in management and marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a graduate of Leadership Knoxville through Introduction Knoxville He's been active in the Knoxville community through United Way of Greater Knoxville and previously served on the board of the First Horizon Foundation.
Harrington returns to Pinnacle, where she previously spent six years as a senior vice president and financial advisor in Murfreesboro, TN. She brings more than a decade of financial services experience spanning commercial, consumer, agricultural and real estate lending as well as relationship management and business development. She is a member of the Junior League of Knoxville and serves on the Herbert Young Alumni Council for the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She is a 2025 graduate from Intro Knox.
She earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural resources and economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. She holds the Chartered Banking Professional designation -the first and only professional credential in the U.S. banking industry developed by GSBLSU. She has completed additional banking and leadership programs through the Tennessee Bankers Association, Belmont University, and the University of Tennessee Martin.
