Newmark Retail announces it has arranged a long-term retail lease on behalf of ownership for Kujten, the Parisian cashmere fashion house, at 92 Greene Street in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood.
Executive Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster, Senior Managing Director Michael Paster and Associate Director Gabe Staab represented ownership, Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR), in the transaction. The tenant, Kujten USA Inc., was represented by Eric Le Goff and Max Kreinces of Retail by MONA, along with David Sitt of Status Capital.
Kujten leased approximately 1,531 square feet on the ground floor and 1,036 square feet on the lower level, totaling more than 2,500 square feet. The store will serve as the brand's second New York City location, following the opening of its Madison Avenue flagship in 2025, and is expected to open in fall 2026.
"Kujten is exactly the kind of brand that defines what SoHo is becoming - authentic, design-driven, and globally recognized," said Schuster. "Bringing them to 92 Greene Street is a testament to the continued strength of this corridor and highlights the trend of global brands wanting to work with quality owners like Acadia. We are proud to have secured a tenant that will add real energy and distinction to this block."
Located between Spring and Broome Streets, 92 Greene Street sits within one of SoHo's most sought-after luxury retail corridors. The neighborhood continues to attract prominent global fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands drawn to its high pedestrian traffic, affluent consumer base and concentration of flagship retail locations.
About Kujten
Founded in Paris in 2012 by childhood friends Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson, Kujten was born from a shared passion for fashion and a quest for the finest cashmere fibers in the world. The brand takes its name from Khuiten - the highest peak in Mongolia - a nod to the pristine landscape where its signature materials are sourced. Guided by an unwavering commitment to impeccable quality, vibrant color, and contemporary design, Kujten has grown from a Parisian boutique concept to a network of more than 50 locations across France and Europe. The brand operates under parent company BCS Group, headquartered in Paris, which provides the financial strength to support its accelerating global expansion. The opening of its Madison Avenue flagship in September 2025 marked Kujten's first U.S. location; its new SoHo boutique at 92 Greene Street represents the brand's continued and confident American retail strategy.
