Traffic Delays for Repairs to Santa Rita

Construction activities and delays will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays from April 6 to April 24, 2026.
Cayucos and Templeton - Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes on Santa Rita Road April 6-24 as the County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works performs road work. During the repairs, heavy trucks will be transporting material and traveling through Santa Rita Road. Expect traffic delays at the project site, approximately 6.5 miles west of the of Old Creek Road intersection.
Construction activities and delays will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
weekdays from April 6 to April 24, 2026.
This work is part of the County's ongoing storm recovery program. Severe storms in early 2023 and 2024 caused a major slip-out in this area, resulting in partial lane loss and the need for repair.
